The Guernsey Legal Resources website has been created and is controlled by the Bailiff's Chambers, Royal Court House, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 2PB and the Law Officers of the Crown, P.O. Box 96, St James Chambers, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 4BY.

This is the Privacy Statement of the Guernsey Legal Resources website.

Collecting Information:
We collect personal information such as name, telephone number and email address. This information is processed in accordance with the Data Protection (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2001.

Usage:
We use this personal information to deal with your requests for access to the Judgment database, and to provide you with details of corrections to Judgments. The information will not be passed on to any third party unless you have given your consent or there is a legal obligation to do so. In some circumstances it may be necessary to transfer your personal information outside the Bailiwick of Guernsey and the European Economic Area but this will only be done in accordance with the conditions permitted in the Data Protection Law. Your information will not be retained by us if there is no longer any purpose to retain it. In some cases there are legal obligations to retain certain types of information.

Choice/Opt-out:
You have the right to see any information about yourself and the right to have any information about yourself corrected or deleted. To exercise these rights send an email to help@guernseylegalresources.gg.

Security:
Organizational and technical measures are in place to protect your personal information. These measures include sound policies and procedures, the provision of physical security, appropriate equipment, the maintenance of such equipment and the appropriate selection and training of our personnel.
